Lapel Pins: Making It Easy To Pinpoint Achievement

Like badges, lapel pins can be used to recognize employee and member achievement. They celebrate training milestones, completion of quarterly goals, and years of service, among other accomplishments. But most importantly, lapel pins are a simple and cost-effective way to recognize and reward good work.

Distinctive pins make it easy for other employees to acknowledge the accomplishment of their co-workers, and often stimulate questions from customers as well. Many service organizations — Rotary International is one of our favorites — use the same method to recognize levels of giving, Past-President or Board member status, or annual “Club Member of the Year” awards.

Lapel pins are easy to custom design, inexpensive to produce, and they can even be magnetized (so you don’t even have to put a pin through fabric). When updating your employee or member recognition programs, don’t forget that sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference!
