Mother’s Day

May is a great month. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and spring is in full force. I couldn’t think of a better month for Mother’s Day. We celebrate Mother’s Day on the second Sunday in May. The love between a mother and her children is obvious, and it can be hard to come up with a way to show your mother how much you love her. Sometimes it can be easiest to draw inspiration from a quote. Here is one of my favorite quotes about mothers:

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born.  She never existed before.  The woman existed, but the mother, never.  A mother is something absolutely new.  -Rajneesh

I think this quote perfectly describes the relationship between mother and child. Our mother’s show us every day that they love us. It isn’t hard to return the favor. Just do small things throughout the day to show your mom you appreciate all the things she has done for you. Flowers and breakfast in bed will definitely start her day out with a smile. But don’t let the recognition end there. Spend the whole day with your mom doing any little thing you can think of. Mother’s Day, like many of the other National Holidays is just one day dedicated to an important event. Just because there’s only one day dedicated to an important event, shouldn’t stop us from celebrating year round. So be sure to give your mother some love every day!
