September Challenge: Self-Improvement Month

September is National Self-Improvement Month and we invite you to participate in this month-long challenge to improve your self at work, school or home. To begin your journey, here are some helpful tips:

  1. Get organized and make a plan. Write out your goals and form a plan. For example, if you are swamped at work, make a detailed to-do list and prioritize the most important items. Spread them out over the course of the next few weeks until you’ve completed all of your tasks.
  2. Set yourself up for success. If you hope to start exercising regularly or spend more time with friends or family, be sure to factor that time into your daily schedule. Don’t push it to the side or assume you’ll get to it later.
  3. Utilize the resources available to you. You can’t wake up and suddenly be a new and improved you! First, you must learn how to get there. Go to your local library and check out helpful books, search the web for articles or blogs with tips or find a group in your community to join and keep you accountable. If you get the right information, tips and tricks you need to improve yourself, you will surely find success.
