What does Dad really want this Father’s Day?

Sunday is Father’s Day, and even though it’s right around the corner, there’s still plenty of time to recognize the father figure in your life. This week, let’s recognize all who fill the role of dad for all they do throughout the year, and make this Father’s Day one to remember.

Think about the ways he contributes to your family, how he supports you, and what makes him a great dad. You don’t always have to spend money on gifts. Usually, what dads really want is appreciation!

Sometimes it’s hard to think of a way to show dads how much you care about them. We’ve all heard it before, and it’s true: the best gifts are often handmade. Take some time to think of some special memories of you and your dad. Share those memories with your father or write them in a note to give to him. Even children can pitch in by drawing pictures or remembering fun times with Dad. And the recognition doesn’t have to stop there — spend time with Dad throughout the day doing activities he enjoys.

Mark your calendars and remember spending time with your dad and sharing special memories will probably be his favorite gift of all!
